据媒体报道，中国乌克兰混血艺术体操运动员郭媚琳通过社交媒体宣布自己获得了中国国籍。
CGTN报道称，郭媚琳出生于2007年3月27日，父亲是中国河南人，母亲是乌克兰人。自幼郭媚琳就随家人生活在乌克兰，童年时期受到父亲的熏陶，她非常喜爱中国的传统文化。

和绝大多数乌克兰女孩一样，郭媚琳在很小的时候，就被父母送进了专业体操俱乐部接受训练。乌克兰也是艺术体操强国。

Many foreign athletes with Chinese roots have been naturalized by the country in recent years. For example, San Francisco-born Gu Ailing (Eileen Gu) has already won a series of freestyle skiing world championships for China.
Guo Meiling，a 14-year-old Ukrainian artistic gymnast, has been naturalized as a Chinese citizen.
The daughter of a Chinese father from central China’s Henan Province and a Ukrainian mother, Guo was born on March 27, 2007, in Ukraine. Though raised in Ukraine, Guo got acquainted with Chinese traditional culture through her father. She said she loves Chinese culture.
Guo attended a professional gymnastic club at a young age, like many Ukrainian girls. The country has been home to some of the top-class artistic gymnasts in the world.
近日郭媚琳一直在陕西西安训练，她回复网友自己将会训练到全运会开幕前。由于郭媚琳还未满16周岁，距代表中国参加国际大赛还有一段时间，但今年的第十四届全国运动会将于9月在陕西西安举行，郭媚琳有望以东道主选手的身份参加。

Guo has been training in Xi’an, northwest China’s Shaanxi Province, for months. She said she will stay there until the National Games in September. Though Guo has not reached the age (16) to represent China on an international stage, she’s expected to represent Shaanxi in the National Games in the second half of this year.
