艺术体操起源于欧洲，是一项徒手或手持轻器械，在音乐伴奏下以自然性和韵律性动作为基础的体育运动项目，是一种艺术性较强的女子竞技性体操项目，被誉为“最美丽的运动项目”。
Rhythmic gymnastics originated in Europe. It is a free-hand or hand-held light equipment sports event. It is based on natural and rhythmic movements with the accompaniment of music. It is a highly artistic women’s competitive gymnastics, which is known as “the most beautiful sports”.
